Installation
Installation
Installation is performed in reverse sequence to the removal, observing the following:
  Note
t  TheControl motor for fresh air valve and recirculation valve -V154- is different for the heating and air conditioning systems - check part number!
t  A new Control motor for natural air valve and recirculation valve -V154- is supplied in the end position „air circulation operation“.
   
The following work stages must be carried out simultaneously:
t  Close the small cold air door -arrow- and keep it closed.
t  Place the Control motor for fresh air valve and recirculation valve -V154- so that the first tooth -A- of gear -2- fits in the first interval for teeth segment -1- on cold air small door.
t  Position the small air circulation door so that the marks -arrows- couple to the gear -2- and to the gear segment -3- in the small air circulation door.
t  Press Control motor for natural air valve and recirculation valve -V154- fully on the support.

–  Install the screws -3- and -5-.
–  Connect the connector -2-
–  Start ignition and check operation of the Control motor for fresh air valve and recirculation valve -V154- with the air circulation button.
  Note
t  The small cold air door and the circulation air door must move freely and with no jerking movements until their final positions.
t  Turn the ignition off immediately if the system malfunctions and repeat the installation.
–  Check the operation with the Diagnosis, Measurement and Information System -VAS 5051A/52- → Chapter.
