Coil spring - install > < Front suspension spring - repair

–  Remove the suspension column → Chapter.
   
–  Compress the helical spring by using the Compressor device or VW 5340 -VAG 1752/1- until the axial ball bearing on the upper part is free.
–  Remove the hexagonal nut from the shock absorber rod.
–  Remove the suspension column parts and spring individually with the Compressor device or VW 5340 -VAG 1752/1-.
1 - "Torque wrench - 40 to 200 Nm (enc. 1/2")" -VAG 1332-
2 - Wrench set-T10001/8-
3 - Wrench set -T10001/11-
4 - Wrench set -T10001/5-
5 - Compression device or VW 5340 -VAG 1752/1-
6 - Spring seat -VAG 1752/4-
  WARNING
Initially, tension the spring until the upper spring plate pressure is relieved.

–  Make sure the coil spring is correctly fitted on the Spring holder -VAG 1752/4--arrow-.
