Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Clamp pliers or VW 004V -VAG 1275-
Assembly:
–  Check the protective bellows for wearing (tears, cracks) and make sure that the sealing surfaces are clean.
  Q00-10075
–  When installing the protective bellows, turn the steering yoke first so that the bar ball pin gets in the installation position.
–  Fasten the clamp with the help of the Clamp pliers or VW 004V -VAG 1275-.
  Note
t  Use only original clamps
t  Under no circumstances shall the protective bellows be installed twisted (misaligned).
