Sequence for vehicle alignment |
The following stages must be followed |
1 - | Check the front axle camber and adjust it if necessary → Chapter. If the values are out of tolerance, the tilting
to one of the vehicle sides must be checked and, if necessary, compensated
before performing the adjustment → Chapter. |
2 - | Check the rear axle camber → Chapter. The camber is not adjustable. If the values are out of tolerance,
the tilting to one of the vehicle sides must be checked and, if necessary,
compensated → Chapter. If the values then still
deviate from the specification, the rear axle may be replaced, if
necessary. |
3 - | Check the rear axle convergence → Chapter. The convergence in the rear axle is not adjustable. If the values
are out of tolerance, the tilting to one of the vehicle sides must
be checked and, if necessary, compensated before performing the adjustment → Chapter. If the values then still deviate from the specification,
the rear axle may be replaced, if necessary. |
4 - | Check the front axle convergence and, if necessary, adjust → Chapter, if the values are outside the tolerance, the
vehicle inclination to one side must be checked and if necessary compensated
for before carrying out adjustments → Chapter |
If a value lies outside the tolerance, the transverse inclination
of the vehicle must be checked first → Chapter |
