| Check whether the vehicle has a coded radio. If so, request
the anti-theft code before disconnecting the Battery -A- earth wire. |

| Before removing the Combined instrument -K-, observe the notes and work instructions for troubleshooting → Chapter. |

| Upon reconnecting the Battery -A-, check the vehicle equipment (radio, clock, power locks and windows,
etc.) according to the Workshop Manual and/or instructions for use. |
