Tail lights (Sedan) - remove and install
Tail lights (Sedan) - remove and install
  Note
Removing and installing the tail lights is identical on both sides; the procedure below refers only to one side.
Removal of the centre tail light:
–  Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment, and remove the key from ignition.
–  Disconnect the Battery -A- → Chapter.
–  Remove the cover for access to the central tail light, located in the boot lid lining.
   
–  Disconnect the connectors -1 and 2- from the tail light socket.
–  Loosen the securing nuts -arrows- (3 Nm).
–  Remove the lamp from the lid.
Removing the side tail light:
  R94-10064
–  Move away the luggage compartment side lining -arrow- → Bodywork - Internal assembly works; Rep. gr.70, until enough space is freed to access the rear of the tail light.
–  Disconnect the side tail light connector.
  N94-0677
–  Loosen the securing nuts -arrows- (3 Nm).
–  Remove the side tail light from the vehicle.
Installation:
–  Installation is performed in reverse sequence to the removal.
–  Tighten the securing nuts -arrows- to a (3 Nm) torque.
