Removal
Removal
–  Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment, and remove the key from ignition.
–  Disconnect the Battery -A- → Chapter.
–  Remove the rearview mirror → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.68.
   
–  Disconnect connector -A- from Rain sensor and sunlight penetration photosensor -G397--2-.

–  Remove the Rain sensor and sunlight penetration photosensor -G397--1- from the support -2-, with the help of the Scraper -VW 037- or the Wedge -3409-, lifting it in lever movement in slot -3-.
  Note
During removal, do not lift only the upper lining of the Rain sensor and sunlight penetration photosensor -G397-, but rather the entire set.
