Interactive System control unitJ879 - remove and install
Interactive System control unit -J879- - remove and install
Removal:
–  Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment, and remove the key from ignition.
–  Disconnect the Battery -A- → Chapter.
–  Remove the glove box → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.68.
   
–  Disengage connector -1- and loosen nuts -arrows- that fasten the Interactive System control unit -J879-.
–  Remove the Interactive System control unit -J879--2 -.
Installation:
Installation is performed in reverse sequence to that of removal, observing the following:

t  After installing the new Interactive System control unit -J879-, it is necessary to code it.
t  For coding, use theVehicle diagnostic, testing and information system -VAS 5051- or the Vehicle diagnosis and technical information system -VAS 5052- or later equipment → General information; Rep. gr.97
