Removing and installing the multi-pin connector on the cabin side (version 1) > < Multi-pin connector in the fire wall
Removing and installing the multi-pin connector on the engine side (version 1)
Removing and installing the multi-pin connector on the engine side (version 1)
Removal:
–  Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment, and remove the key from ignition.
–  Disconnect the Battery -A- → Chapter.
–  Remove the windscreen wiper mechanism → Chapter.
   
–  Release the fastening screw -arrow- (7 Nm).

–  Disconnect connectors.

–  Loosen the fastening screw -1- (7 Nm).

–  Unlock the lock -1- by turning it towards the -arrow-.
  Note
  N97-10196
When removing the multi-pin connector -1- completely, the lock -2- must be positioned as shown in the illustration.
–  Remove the multi-pin connector by the cabin side → Chapter.
Installation:
Installation is performed in reverse sequence to the removal, considering the following:
–  Tighten the securing nuts to (7 Nm).
