Main fuse holder (version 5) - remove and install > < Main fuse holder (version 2) - remove and install
Main fuse holder (versions 3 and 4) - remove and install

Removal:
–  Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment, and remove the key from ignition.
–  Disconnect the Battery -A- → Chapter.
   
–  Release the lock -arrow A- from the cover -1- of the positive pole of the Battery -A- and move the cover -1- towards - arrow B-.
–  Release the locks -arrows A- of the cover -1-.

–  Tilt the cover -1- towards -arrow B-.

–  Release the securing nut -2- and remove from the cable (B+) -1-.

–  Unlock the locks -arrows A- of the fuse covers -1- and lift them in the direction of -arrow B-.

–  Unlock the tabs -arrows- and remove the cover cap -1-.

–  Identify the pinout of cable terminals -A- with cable terminals-B-.

–  Remove the securing nuts -1- (6 Nm) and remove the fuses -2-.

–  Unlock the fuse holder -1- by moving it towards the -arrow-.
–  Remove the cable contacts with the tool indicated in the Harness repair set -VAS 1978-.
–  Remove the fuse box.
Installation:
Installation is performed in the reverse sequence to the removal, observing the following

t  It is imperative that all conductors/terminals are installed back into their respective locations.
t  Mount the fuses according to the Electrical Diagram → Current flow diagrams, Electrical fault finding and Fitting locations.
