Repairing CAB-Bus system cables
   
t  With the CAB-Bus cable, a cable with two wires an no protection is used -1- and -2- with a transversal section area of 0.35 mm2 or 0.5 mm2.
t  Color codes of the CAN-Bus system cables:
  N97-0261
CAN-High cable, activationorange/black
CAN-High cable, Comfort systemorange/green
CAN-High cable, Infotainmentorange/purple
CAN-Low cable (all)orange/brown

t  Besides the repair cables with their respective transversal sections, the CAN-Bus system may be repaired with „green/yellow“ or „white/yellow“ stranded cables from the → Electronic Parts Catalogue „ETKA“.
t  In repair work, the two CAN-Bus cables should be of the same length. When stranding cables -1- and -2- it is essential to maintain the A = 20 mm gap.
t  There must not be any repair to the cable -arrow- that results in a length of more than B = 50 mm without the cables being stranded.
t  Place yellow adhesive tape around the repaired sections so as to identify previously repaired sections.
