Note| If the adapter has not been removed, the roof spoiler latches onto the adapter on the rear lid. |

| – | Preparing body component for bonding → Chapter |
| – | Preparing attachment for bonding → Chapter |
| – | Using hand cartridge gun -V.A.G 1628--5-, apply 2-component window adhesive -DA 004 600 A2- to form an adhesive bead -4- and adhesive points -2- on left and right sides of roof spoiler -1-. |
| – | Pull protective film off double-sided adhesive tape -3-. |
| – | With the help of a second mechanic, fit roof spoiler -1- in direction of -arrow- on rear lid -2- and press on firmly. |
