| Removing undamaged side window (4-door model) |
| Protect surrounding parts against damage. |
| – | Insert cutting cord -3- behind seal -1- in window flange with aid of tube -2-. |
| – | Secure end of cutting cord -2- to pull handles -V.A.G 1351/1--4-. |
| – | Fold seal down in area -5--arrows a- and protect against damage by cutting cord. |
| – | Cut through adhesive bead with „sawing“ motions -arrows b- on pull handles -V.A.G 1351/1-. |
Note| t | Centring pins -3- are cut through easily with cutting cord. Increased counter-pressure may occur. |
| t | An undamaged side window is re-installed without retaining clips. |
