Removing head restraint guides
  Note
For greater clarity, the head restraint guides are shown removed.
Removing
–  Remove front seat → Chapter.
–  Removing front belt buckle → Chapter.
–  Removing seat trim on tunnel side → Chapter.
–  Removing seat trim on sill side:
t  Seat without height adjustment → Chapter.
t  Seat with height adjustment → Chapter.
–  Remove backrest:
t  4-door model → Chapter
–  Remove cover and padding from front seat backrest → Chapter.
   
–  Reach into backrest frame and release catch -arrow A- of head restraint guide with button -1-.
–  Pull head restraint guide with button out of backrest.
–  Reach into backrest frame and release catch -arrow B- of head restraint guide -2-.
–  Pull head restraint out of backrest.
