1 - Brake fluid reservoir
2 - Supply hose
q   Rubber
q   From 12. 05, plastic → Fig.
3 - Master cylinder
q   Removing and installing, Polo 2002 ► → Chapter
q   Removing and installing, Polo 2010 ► → Chapter
4 - Clip
q   Pull out clip to stop to remove and install pipe/hose line
5 - Retainer
q   Renew only with master cylinder removed
q   Removing → Fig.
q   Pressing on → Fig.
6 - Clutch pedal
7 - Self-locking hexagon nut, 25 Nm
q   Always renew
8 - Seal / O-ring
q   Pull onto line connection
q   Insert with brake fluid
q   Seals/O-rings are adapted to configuration of line connection → Fig.
q   Allocation → Electronic parts catalogue (ETKA)
9 - Pipe/hose line
q   Allocate using → Electronic parts catalogue (ETKA)
q   To remove, remove ABS control unit with hydraulic unit → Brake system; Rep. gr.45

Lever off retainer -A- in direction of arrow

Carefully push support -A- onto master cylinder operating rod

Seals and O-rings for pipe and hose lines

From 12.05:- plastic supply hose -1-
