1 - 10 Nm
2 - Camshaft housing cover
3 - 10 Nm
4 - 10 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°) further
q   Renew
5 - To air filter
6 - Hall sender -G40-
7 - O-ring
q   Renew if damaged
8 - Bracket
9 - Cylinder head bolt
q   Renew
q   Follow installation instructions and sequence when loosening and tightening
10 - Roller rocker finger
q   Check roller bearing for ease of movement
q   Oil contact surface
q   When installing, secure to support element using securing clip
11 - Support element
q   Do not interchange
q   With hydraulic valve clearance compensation
q   Oil contact surface
12 - Dowel pins
13 - 0.3...0.7 bar oil pressure switch -F1-, 20 Nm
q   Checking → Chapter
q   If sealing ring is leaking, nip open and renew
14 - Cylinder head
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
q   Check for distortion → Fig.
q   Sealing surfaces to camshaft housing must be oil and grease free
q   If renewed, change coolant in entire system
15 - Cylinder head gasket
q   Renew
q   Metal gasket
q   If renewed, change coolant in entire system
16 - Guide pins
q   Specified torque: 18 Nm
17 - 20 Nm
18 - Lifting eye
19 - Camshaft housing
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
q   Remove sealant remnants
q   Carefully clean sealing surfaces. They must be oil and grease free
q   Coat with AMV 188 003 A1 before fitting
q   When installing, fit vertically from above onto studs and dowel pins
20 - Cable guide
q   Bolt to camshaft housing with 8 Nm torque

Max. permissible distortion: 0.05 mm
