The loading function is no longer located in the telephone transmitter and receiver unit -R36- but integrated in the cradle. Cradle from previous vehicles do not function any more.
The telephone system is available only in conjunction with a radio unit or a radio navigation system.

In the event of repair work or fault finding, use → vehicle diagnosis, testing and information systemVAS 5051 or vehicle diagnosis and service information systemVAS 5052 in „Guided fault finding“ mode → Current flow diagrams, Electrical fault finding and Fitting locations.
