Fuel Filter

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Fuel container

Removing

-

Place container underneath fuel filter.

CAUTION:  Fuel system is under pressure. Wear protective goggles and protective clothing to prevent injuries and contact with skin.
Before removing from hose connection wrap a cloth around the connection. Then release pressure by carefully pulling hose off
connection.

Disconnect fuel lines - 1 -, - 2 - and - 3 - by pressing the release button.

Remove bolts - 4 -.

-

Remove fuel filter.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal, noting the following:

-

The direction of flow is marked on filter housing with arrows.

Bleed fuel supply system.

Installed Location

Pin - 2 - on filter housing must engage in recess of guide - 1 - on filter bracket

Tightening Specifications
