Note: When positioning the oil pump, be careful of the input shaft splines and ensure they are seated correctly on the alignment pins.

Various oil pump screws -1-

All 4 bolts with flat head

Tightening specifications

^

5 Nm + 90° (1/4 additional turn)

3 bolts have a flat head, the upper bolt is counter sunk

Tightening specifications

^

Counter sunk screw: 8 Nm without tightening angle (tighten with Socket T10054)

Flat head screws: 8 Nm + 90° (1/4 additional turn)

Set new oil pump cover -A- in place and tighten new bolts -arrows- in diagonal sequence and in multiple stages to 8 Nm.

Add new oil and adjust for correct oil level

Replace the DSG oil and filter.

Install left front wheel housing liner.

-

Install the noise insulation if necessary.
