Right Flange Shaft Seal on Outside of Bevel Box

Right Flange Shaft Seal on Outside of Bevel Box (All Wheel Drive) - 02E, 6 Speed DSG A/T AWD

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Thrust piece T10049

Procedure

Sealing ring can be replaced with transmission installed.

-

Remove right flange shaft.

-

Pry out seal for flange shaft with lever.

-

Drive in new seal to stop using thrust piece T10049.

-

Fill area between sealing lip and dust lip -arrow- halfway with sealing grease G 052 128 A1.

-

Install right flange shaft.

-

Check oil level in bevel box and top off.
