Oil Pump: Service and Repair

Haldex Clutch Pump

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Torque wrench 5-50 Nm VAG 1331

^

Drip tray for VAS 6100 VAS 6208

Removing

-

Switch ignition off.

-

Set drip tray for VAS 6100 VAS 6208 underneath.

-

Remove drain plug -A- and completely drain high performance Haldex clutch oil.

-

Install drain plug -A- with new seal and tighten to 30 Nm.

Lower final drive slightly. Bolt -arrow- on front final drive mounting bracket must be loosened approximately 7 turns to do so.

-

Remove pump connector -arrow- from control module.
