Condenser HVAC: Service and Repair
Condenser, Removing And Installing
NOTE: Observe notes
Removing:
CAUTION:

Switch off all electrical consumers.

Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.

Evacuate refrigerant circuit using refrigerant recycling/recovery unit Kent-Moore ACR4 (or UL approved equivalent)

Remove front bumper
-
Remove lock carrier See: Body and Frame/Lock Carrier
CAUTION:
-
Frostbite danger.
-
High pressure refrigerant may leak out if refrigerant circuit is not discharged.

Always evacuate refrigerant prior to opening refrigerant circuit. If refrigerant circuit is not opened within 10 minutes of evacuation,
pressure may form in refrigerant circuit due to evaporation. Evacuate refrigerant once more.

Disconnect refrigerant lines from condenser and seal.
1. Protective mesh

Where applicable.

Position protective mesh on the 3rd rib -arrow- from below.
2. Clip

Qty. 8
3. Condenser

Secured to radiator.
4. Sealing strip
-
Adhere upper sealing strips from above onto 6th lamella row of condenser before installing.
