Main Fuse Box, Removing And Installing 

Main fuse box is located at rear right of luggage compartment under tool kit and wagon jack formed insert.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Torque wrench V.A.G 1331

CAUTION:

-

Observe safety precautions when working on battery isolation system.

-

Observe notes for disposal of battery isolator units. 

Removing: 

-

Remove Battery Interrupt Igniter N253.

-

Remove nuts -1-, -2- and -3- and remove wires from connector threads.

-

Pull harness connector -4- out of its secured position in main fuse box.

-

Pull release lever -2- outward in direction of arrow and disconnect connector -1-.
