Swivel clutch pedal slightly downward and remove over-center spring - 4 - from mounting bracket.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

Note:  Replace self-locking nut.

Place over-center spring into mounting bracket from above and thereby hold the end of spring in the installed position with Assembly Tool
T10178.

The mounting area - arrow - for clutch pedal pivot pin - A - must be positioned vertically.

Insert the clutch pedal pivot pin into the mounting cup of the over-center spring.

-

Press on clutch pedal slightly, push bolt through and tighten self-locking nut.

Now fasten impact bolster - 1 - in front of clutch pedal - 2 -.

Install trim cover on driver side, as well as covering under trim cover.
