Note:

The following points are essential to ensure correct shift adjustment:
^
Operating and transfer elements of shift mechanism must be in proper condition.
^
Shift mechanism must move freely.
^
he transmission, clutch and clutch mechanism must be in proper condition.
^
Transmission in neutral position.

Remove air filter housing if bracket - A - and securing mechanism from shift cable and selector lever cable are not accessible through it.

Pull locking mechanism on shift cable and selector cable forward in direction of - arrow 1 - up to stop and then turn it toward left in direction of -
arrow 2 - to lock it.
Secure shift rod as follows:
