Electronic Throttle Control Module: Service and Repair

Throttle Valve Control Module

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

-

Hose clamps up to 25 mm diameter 3094

Removing

NOTE:  Observe the rules for cleanliness.

Remove engine cover with air filter.

-

Remove intake hose - 4 - between throttle valve control module J338 and air filter. To do so, disconnect air hose - 1 -, if present, and air hose - 2 -
(compress securing ring) and remove spring clamp - 3 -.

-

Remove intake air connection on lock carrier - arrows -.

-

Disconnect connector - 1 - and bleeder hose - 2 -.

-

Remove bolts - arrows -.

NOTE:  Seal the intake channel in intake manifold using a clean rag.
