Information Bus: Removal and Replacement

Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface

Removing

NOTE:  Before removing Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface J533, the work procedure to read out the codes stored in the module must always be
performed.

-

Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

-

Remove cover in drivers side footwell.

-

Disengage harness connector - 1 - and disconnect it from Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface J533 - 2 -.

-

Press mounting pins - 3 - together - arrows - and out of holes.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
