Transmission Position Switch/Sensor: Adjustments

Multi-Function Transmission Range Switch, Adjusting - 09G, 6 Speed A/T FWD

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Headlight washer adjustment tool T10173

-

Place selector lever in position "N".

-

Do not kink selector lever cable.

Adjustment Prerequisites

Selector lever cable is removed from lever/shift rod

^

Shift rod is in position "N"

^

Mounting bolts of Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch F125 are loosened

^

Lever/shift rod is removed

Attach adjustment tool onto shift rod -2- and turn multi-function switch -1- until adjustment tool engages on tab of connector at multi-function
switch.

-

Fasten adjustment tool to shift rod -2- using bolt -3-.

-

Tighten bolts -arrows- to 6 Nm.

-

Remove adjustment tool.

-

Further installation is performed in the reverse sequence.
