Clutch Switch: Service and Repair
Clutch Position Sensor

 

Clutch Position Sensor - 0A4, 5 Speed M/T

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Hose clamps 3094

Removing

-

First check whether a coded radio is installed. In this case, find out anti-theft coding.

-

Disconnect battery ground (GND) strap with ignition switched off.

Remove entire air filter housing, if it is located in the vicinity of the battery.

Remove battery and battery carrier.

If a hose/line assembly -1- with a round component is installed directly below the master cylinder, hose/line assembly must be removed.

Note: While performing the following work, make sure that no brake fluid comes into contact with longitudinal member or with transmission. If this
happens, these areas must be cleaned thoroughly.

Clamp off the supply hose to the master cylinder using a hose clamp 3094.
