Rear Knuckle Alignment Link: Removal and Replacement

Tie Rod

Tie Rod (Rabbit)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Torque Wrench V.A.G 1331

Removing

-

Remove wheel.

-

Remove coil spring.

-

Remove nut -1- and remove coupling rod -2- from the stabilizer bar.

-

Remove bolt -arrow- for tie rod -3-.

-

Remove stabilizer bar clip bolts -arrows-.

-

Remove nut -arrow- and remove bolt toward rear.

-

Remove tie rod.

Installing

-

Install tie rod in vehicle and hand-tighten bolts.

Only bolt on tie rod if dimension "a" is reached!
