Valve Body: Procedures

Valve Body Overview - 09G, 6 Speed A/T FWD

1 - ATF inspection plug
2 - Oil seal

Always replace

3 - Overflow tube

^

Remove to drain ATF

4 - Oil Pan
5 - Bolt

^

Tighten oil pan bolts in several stages in a diagonal sequence

6 - Gasket

^

With spacers (quantity: 8)

^

Check before installing

^

Replace brittle, cracked or deformed seals

7 - Magnet

^

Qty. 2, in depressions of oil pan

^

Clean before installing oil pan

8 - Bolt

^

For mounting valve body on transmission

^

Qty. 12, various lengths

^

Always replace bolts

9 - Bolt

^

Quantity: 3

^

For securing oil strainer to valve body

10 - Oil Strainer
11 - Valve Body
