Remove cable mounting bracket from transmission -arrows-.

-

Tie shift cable and selector cable up.

-

Remove bracket -B- from transmission and pull it off from hose/line assembly -A-.

-

Remove transmission supports -arrows A-.

-

Place a lint-free rag under slave cylinder.

-

Pull clip for hose/line assembly out from slave cylinder to stop.

-

Pull hose/line assembly out of slave cylinder and plug it.

-

Remove slave cylinder bolts -arrows B- and slave cylinder.

Note: Do not depress clutch pedal.

Installing

Install in reverse order. Note the following:

-

Grease end of plunger with MoS 2 -grease.

-

Install slave cylinder and tighten bolts -arrows B- to torque specification.

-

Insert hose/line assembly into the slave cylinder up to the stop.

-

Press in the clip for hose/line assembly up to the stop.

-

Then install the transmission supports -arrows A-.
