Back Window Glass: Service and Repair

Removing

-

Protect body and interior from glass splinters.

-

Remove glass pieces from adhesive material.

-

Disconnect harness connectors for window defroster and window antenna.

-

Bond flange - 1 - all around with fabric reinforced adhesive tape.

-

Cut through adhesive material (with glass residue) in window cutout with electric cutter V.A.G 1561 A - 3 - and cutting blade V.A.G 1561/10 - 2 -.

CAUTION:  Always wear protective goggles and leather gloves.
