rubber hangers in area of catalytic converter stretched or torn

Repair Procedure(s)

use of rubber hanger P/N 171 253 147G (steel reinforced)

A production change (as of 5/83) in weld points of the heatshield/bracket creates greater clearance between the corrugated pipe and heatshield
