Front Passenger Seat Occupied Sensor

CAUTION!
If Front Passenger's Seat Occupied Sensor ( G128) is replaced, also the upholstery, front seat cushion must always be replaced!

Removing

-

Mount the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136 ) on the engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095 ).

-

Remove front seat => [ Front Seat ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Seat

-

Attach the seat to the fixture for seat repair ( VAS 6136).

-

Remove the front safety belt latch => [ Front Seat Belt Latch ] See: Seat Belt Systems/Seat Belt Latch/Service and Repair/Front Seat Belt Latch

Remove the trim on the tunnel side => [ Tunnel Side Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Tunnel
Side Trim

-

Remove the drawer mount, if equipped => [ Seat Drawer Mount ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Seat
Drawer Mount

Passenger Seat without Height Adjustment

Remove the backrest adjustment wheel => [ Backrest Adjusting Wheel ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and

Remove the trim on the door sill side => [ Front Sill Panel Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff Plate/Service and
Repair/Front Sill Panel Trim

Passenger Seat with Pass-Through

-

Remove the trim on the door sill side 

-

Remove the bracket, trim, door sill side => [ Front Door Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door
Panel/Service and Repair/Front Door Trim

Front Seats with manual height adjustment

-

Remove the backrest adjustment wheel => [ Backrest Adjusting Wheel ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Backrest Adjusting Wheel

Remove the trim on the door sill side => [ Front Sill Panel Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff Plate/Service and

Remove the bracket, trim, door sill side.

Electric Driver Seat

-

Remove the trim on the door sill side => [ Front Sill Panel Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff Plate/Service and
Repair/Front Sill Panel Trim

Remove the bracket, trim, door sill side.

-

Disconnect the two harness connectors for the backrest drives underneath the seat frame. Remove the harness connectors from the seat frame.

all seats

-

Cut the mesh hose cable tie and pull the harness connector belt lock through it.

‹› On vehicles with a luggage pass-through, it is sufficient to fold the backrest forward, it does not have to be removed.
