Rear Side Airbag Crash Sensor, Driver Side

‹› The driver side rear side airbag crash sensor (G256 ) is installed on the driver side in front of the rear wheel housing. 

Removing

CAUTION!

Disconnect vehicle battery.

-

Move the left rear bench seat as far forward as possible.

-

Remove the rear wheel housing trim:

‹› without rear side airbags 

‹› with rear side airbags 

-

Press the connector lock and remove the connector - 1 - from the crash sensor - 3 -.

-

Remove bolt - 2 - (6 Nm).

Installing

-

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

-

Switch on ignition.

CAUTION!
Make sure that no one is in the vehicle.

-

Connect vehicle battery.
