CAUTION!
Without this wood block inserted, there is the danger of injury when  lower control arm moves back to initial position.

Install tools onto wheel bearing housing, as shown in illustration. 

1. Nut (T10230/2)

2. Press piece (T10230/13)

3. Thrust pad (T10230/6)

4. Tube (T10230/5)

5. Press piece (T10230/4)

6. Tube (T10230/3)

7. Thrust plate (T10230/7)

8. Hydraulic press (VAS 6178) with pressure head (T10205/13)

CAUTION!
Before pressing out, place engine and transmission jack (VAG 1383 A) with universal mount underneath cylinder, cylinder  may fall
down at end of pressing out procedure.

Press out bonded rubber bushing.
