Door Motors

Left Side 4 Zone or Side Vent 2 Zone Climatronic

‹› The Left Side Vent Motor (V299) or the Side Vent Motor (V262) is located on the A/C unit  on the left upper retaining plate.

‹› The lower retaining plate must be removed first before the upper retaining  plate can be removed.

 Removing

-

Remove the motor upper retaining plate - 2 -. Refer  to --> [ Left Upper A/C Unit Retaining Plate ] See: Housing Assembly HVAC/Service and
Repair/Left Upper A/C Unit Retaining Plate

Remove the screws - 4 - (quantity: 3) from the center  motor, identified by - B - in the illustration.

Remove control motor from retaining plate - 2 -. 

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order, when doing this  note the following:

Initiate Basic Setting function with Diagnostic Operation  System (VAS 5051B). Refer to--> [ Climatronic A/C System with Automatic Control,
Checking and Adjusting ] See: Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General Diagnostics/Climatronic A/C System with Automatic
Control, Checking and Adjusting.
