Disconnect electrical connections at rear heating and A/C unit

Remove screws -A- (8 Nm)

-

Cover carpet in area under heating and A/C unit using waterproof foil and water absorbing paper.

Tilt rear heating and A/C unit into rear compartment and remove through rear hatch opening.

CAUTION:  Use care not to allow coolant to leak onto rear carpet.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

NOTE:  Always replace O-rings.

Ensure evaporator water drain hose is not kinked -arrow-

-

Secure connections using clamps of standard used in series production.

-

Refill and bleed cooling system.
