Alignment: Description and Operation

General Information

Wheel alignment must only performed using VW/Audi approved wheel alignment equipment!

Wheel alignment checks must always include both front and rear axles.

Otherwise centering of toothed shaft cannot be guaranteed!

If the steering wheel is repositioned on these vehicles, basic setting of the steering angle sensor must be checked!

Perform wheel alignment using wheel alignment computer.

Any information needed for wheel alignment can be found in wheel alignment computer.

Note:

Do not perform wheel alignment until the vehicle has been driven 1000 to 2000 km, because the coil springs will not have settled until then.

The individual specifications should be followed as exactly as possible when making adjustments.
