If necessary, remove the old locking pin from the luggage compartment cover by collapsing the 2 pin retainers.

^

Slide the old locking pin out of the guide.

^

Insure proper spring position inside new locking pin, Part No. 7L6898773.

^

Align locking pin with guide and insert until pin retainers seat

^

Install luggage compartment cover.
