Removing and installing Easy Entry

Note

Removal and installation are described for the driver seat. Removal and installation for the front passenger seat are analogous.

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Torque wrench -V.A.G 1331-

t	Torque wrench -V.A.G 1783-

Removing

–	Remove backrest adjustment lever → Chapter.

–	Remove trim on seat on tunnel side → Chapter.

–	Unscrew bolt -1- (1.5 Nm).

–	Detach Easy Entry -2- from seat backrest frame and remove.

Installing

–	Install in reverse order of removal.
