Removing and installing rear inner door handle

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Torque wrench -V.A.G 1783-

Note

Removal and installation are illustrated for the left vehicle side. The right side of the vehicle is analogous.

Removing

–	Remove rear door trim → Chapter.

–	Remove bolts -3- (1.2 Nm).

–	Remove inner door handle -2- from door trim -1-.

Installing

Note

Before installing, check all fasteners for damage and renew if necessary.

Install in reverse order of removal.
