Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Removing wedge -3409-
  Note
t  Removal and installation are described for the left vehicle side. Follow same instructions for the right side as appropriate.
t  For reasons of clarity, the rear backrest is not shown.
Removing
–  Remove bench seat → Chapter.
–  Release 4-door-model sill moulding → Chapter.

–  Release trim -1- from catches -2- at bottom.
–  Fold backrest forwards.
–  Release trim -1- from catches -3- at top.
–  Pull trim -1- off upper C-pillar trim.

Installing
  Note
t  Before installing, check all fasteners for damage and renew if necessary.
t  Following installation, ensure that trim is positioned in door seal beading.
–  Install in reverse order of removal.
–  Insert hook -see magnified area- in mounting and start engaging retaining clips -2 and 3-.
