t  Torque wrench -V.A.G 1331-
Removing
–  Mark the direction of rotation of the poly V-belt with a marker.
  W00-0427
–  Lever off tensioning roller cap -arrow- using a screwdriver.
–  Loosen securing bolt -1-.
  N13-10510
–  Turn tensioning roller -2- in -direction of arrow- past TDC using a socket.
–  Remove poly V-belt.
Installing
  Note
When installing the poly V-belt, ensure that the belt is properly seated in the vibration damper and the belt pulleys.
–  Fit poly V-belt over vibration damper pulley and pulleys of alternator and air conditioner compressor.
–  Push belt onto tensioning roller.

–  Turn tensioning roller -2- in -direction of arrow- past TDC using a socket.
–  Tighten securing bolt -1- to 23 Nm.
