1 - Right track rod ball joint
q   Marked with „A“.
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
q   Checking → 
q   Installation position → Anchor
2 - Nut
q   50 Nm
3 - Clamp
4 - Bellows
q   Must not be twisted after adjusting toe.
q   Remove steering box to renew.
5 - Clamp
q   Renew.
q   Tightening → Anchor
6 - Seal
q   Allocation → Electronic parts catalogue „ETKA“
7 - Right track rod
q   80 Nm
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
q   Replacement parts are supplied pre-adjusted.
q   Adjusting toe → Chapter.
8 - Steering box
q   Allocation → Electronic parts catalogue „ETKA“
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
9 - Left track rod
q   80 Nm
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
q   Replacement parts are supplied pre-adjusted.
q   Checking length and adjusting → Anchor.
10 - Left track rod ball joint
q   Marked with „B“.
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
q   Checking → 
q   Installation position → Anchor

Checking play, tightness and bellows of track rod ball joints
–  Check play by moving track rods and wheels with the vehicle raised (wheels hanging free). Play: no play
–  Check tightness of bolts.
–  Check that bellows are undamaged and correctly seated.
