Vanagons manufactured prior to VIN 25DH089113 require the relocation of the coolant overflow bottle and lengthening of the splice between the upper
and lower coolant hoses to obtain at least 25 mm (1.0 in) clearance between the A/C drive belt and coolant hoses
Vanagons prior to VIN 25DH089113 are classified in two groups 1 - those equipped with option M-051 (preparation for aftermarket A/C) 2 - those
without option M-051 Vehicles without option M-051 require the installation of the following parts:
3 - groove crankshaft pulley
P/N 025 105 256
Bolt
P/N N 100 186.01
O-ring, pulley seal
P/N N 900 784.01
Exhaust heat shield
P/N 251 863 846A
Note Installation of three groove crankshaft pulley is described in Product Circular, Group 13, 83-02, July 22, 1983
These modifications are being performed in production as of VIN 25DH089113
Note To simplify A/C installation, we recommend that cooling system modifications be performed before installation of A/C compressor brackets
