Headlining, replacing
Removing the headlining
For model years up to and including 2002 which have the older headlining, remove the roof module according to Interior lighting and upper electronic
module (UEM), replacing See: Lighting and Horns/Dome Lamp/Service and Repair/Interior Lighting and Upper Electronic Module (UEM), Replacing.
For model years 2002 onwards which have the new headlining, remove the roof module according to Interior lighting, replacing See: Lighting and
Horns/Dome Lamp/Service and Repair/Interior Lighting, Replacing.
Remove:

the sun visor. See Sun visor, replacing See: Sun Visor/Service and Repair

The B-post panel. See Panel, B-post, replacing See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Panel B-Post, Replacing

the C/D-post panel. See Panel, C-post, replacing See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Panel C-Post, Replacing

the grab handle.

the connector at the A-post

the connector at the sun roof.
Disconnect the cable harness.
Pull out the headlining through the tailgate.
