Handset Cradle and Speaker, Installing

HANDSET CRADLE AND SPEAKER, INSTALLING

^

remove handset cradle screws (Torx T15) and separate cradle halves

^

cut off wires from inside of cradle

^

using template included with installation kit, mark and drill a 5 mm hole (arrow) in center of lower handset cradle

^

remove felt lining from center console tray 

^

insert plastic nuts into three front square holes (arrows) in bottom of tray

CAUTION

Use care when removing/installing speaker grill. Tabs on the rear of the grill can be broken off if the grill is forced or removed/installed improperly.

remove speaker grill screws 1 and carefully remove speaker grill

^

remove screws from telephone handset connector (arrow) and remove connector from grill

^

install speaker over pins in grill and install retaining clips over pins

^

connect speaker wires

^

reinstall telephone handset connector and tighten screws
