Control Arm: Service and Repair
Lower

1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheels.
2. Support lower control arm, then remove inner pivot bolts an nuts.
3. Remove adjusting bolt assemblies attaching control arm to hub, note position of adjusting bolts and cam washers for later assembly.
4. Remove lower control arm, do not allow excessive strain on brake fluid lines, axle boots and wiring to occur.
5. Reverse procedure to install noting the following;

a. Loosely assemble and do not tighten to specification bolts for rubber bushed mountings until vehicle has been lowered to the ground.
b. Tighten all fasteners to specifications.
